completed

The Environmental Education Building is located within the 120-acre Kreher Preserve and Nature Center in Auburn, Alabama. It promotes exploration of the natural world and stewardship of the environment, designed as an extension of the preserve's trail network. The building features passive lighting and cooling strategies, biophilic design principles, and is constructed primarily from locally harvested timber, including cross laminated timber (CLT) from nearby Dothan, Alabama. It serves as a teaching tool demonstrating sustainable, low embodied carbon building practices.
