Description | The Øksenelvane Hydropower Plant in Bremanger municipality, Norway, is being replaced with a new facility that will increase annual production by 21 GWh to a total of 171 GWh. The project includes two Pelton turbines rated at 55 MW each, turbine governors, main inlet valves, penstocks, cooling systems, generators, excitation systems with transformers, and full automation and monitoring systems. ANDRITZ is supplying the complete electromechanical scope. The project is scheduled for completion in 2028. |
