Ksi Lisims LNG Export Facility

The Ksi Lisims LNG facility is a floating liquefied natural gas export terminal backed by the Nisg̱a’a Nation, Western LNG, and Rockies LNG. It is planned to be Canada's second-largest LNG facility with a capacity to export 12 million tonnes of LNG per year to new markets in Asia. The project includes the LNG export facility, the Prince Rupert Gas Transmission pipeline to supply fracked gas, and a new electricity transmission line (North Coast transmission line) to support operations. The facility aims to be one of the world's cleanest LNG operations with a potential to reach net zero emissions by 2030, initially running on natural gas until clean electricity is available.
