Ksi Lisims LNG Export Terminal

Ksi Lisims LNG is a proposed liquefied natural gas export terminal on Canada's Pacific coast. The project is backed by Houston-based Western LNG, a consortium of Canadian natural gas producers called Rockies LNG, and the Nisga'a First Nation, who own the land for the project. It aims to supply LNG to European buyers, including Germany's Uniper, by shipping through the Panama Canal as part of a strategy to diversify supply sources. The project is expected to be in construction for several years if approved and has been referred to the Canadian government's Major Projects Office for fast-tracking.
