Description | Ksi Lisims LNG is a liquefied natural gas plant with a capacity of 12 million tons per year, located on the Pacific coast of Canada. The project is fully electrified and powered by hydroelectricity, aiming to be one of the lowest CO2-emitting LNG projects in the world. TotalEnergies has signed a 20-year agreement to purchase 2 million tons per year of LNG from the future liquefaction plant and has acquired a 5% stake in Western LNG, the developer and future operator of the project, with an option to increase its stake up to approximately 10% upon final investment decision. |
