Description | The Ksi Lisims LNG project is a liquefied natural gas export project in northwest British Columbia, Canada. It involves shipping 12 million tonnes of LNG annually to Asia. The project is a partnership between Houston-based Western LNG, the Nisga’a Nation, and Rockies LNG. It includes plans for a floating LNG terminal and the Prince Rupert Gas Transmission pipeline to transport natural gas from northeastern B.C. to the LNG terminal near Pearse Island. The project aims to start deliveries in the early 2030s and has signed an offtake agreement with Germany's state-owned utility SEFE for one million tonnes annually for up to 20 years. |
