Description | The Ksi Lisims LNG project is a massive LNG export facility planned in waters off northwest British Columbia, in Nisga’a Nation territory. It consists of two floating platforms designed to process up to 22.4 billion cubic metres of gas per year, resulting in exports of 12 million tonnes of LNG annually. The project is powered by electricity from the planned North Coast Transmission Line and gas supplied via the Prince Rupert Gas Transmission pipeline. It aims to start construction in 2025 with operations commencing in late 2028 or 2029, targeting Asian markets and aiming to be net-zero ready by 2030. |
