The Ksi Lisims LNG facility is a proposed liquefied natural gas export terminal in Prince Rupert, British Columbia, Canada. It has a planned capacity of 12 million tonnes per year, making it the second-largest LNG export terminal in Canada after LNG Canada. The project aims to provide direct shipping access to Asia and is part of Canada's efforts to boost the economy by speeding up natural resource project construction. The project proponents include Houston-based Western LNG, a consortium of Canadian natural gas producers called Rockies LNG, and the Nisga’a First Nation, who own the land for the project. Construction is linked with the 900-kilometre Prince Rupert Gas Transmission pipeline, which is already under construction to transport natural gas from northeast BC to Ksi Lisims.
