Description | The project entails the construction of a 600 tpd composting plant, located at Adagya, in the Bosomtwe District in the Ashanti Region, Ghana. The project required an investment of US$44 million. Sponsors of the project is Accra Compost & Recycling Plant is a subsidiary of the Zoomlion Group. Financial close took place in 2014. The plant will process 600 tonnes of waste and produce up to 100 tonnes of organic compost each day. The plant will receive, sort, process and recycle solid and liquid waste and produce organic manure for agronomic purposes.
