Description | Construction for the Kurt and Marilyn Wallach Holocaust and Jewish Studies Building at Florida Atlantic University officially kicked off in August 2025 after a previous groundbreaking in 2022. The building is planned to open in fall 2026 and will include a Holocaust and human rights professional development training room, host classes and K-12 teacher workshops, and feature a performing arts hall with over 150 seats. The 23,577-square-foot building will be located across from Parking Lot 23, next to the Dorothy F. Schmidt College of Arts and Letters as an expansion of the college. |
