The project is funded by the European Investment Bank and valued between ₹250-600 crores. It includes demolition of the existing facility, construction of the new WWTP, installation of an effluent pipeline to the river, and supervision of operation and maintenance for 12 months. The plant is designed for future expansion up to 56 MLD and incorporates advanced treatment technologies such as activated sludge process, UV disinfection, solar sludge drying, and odour control systems. |
