Description | Based on recommendations and findings of IFC's diagnostic, the project includes components for risk management and corporate governance strengthening as well as strategic planning. The project will address risk governance, developing and implementing precise risk measures to be monitored in the areas of credit risk, liquidity risk, interest rate risk (IRR), market risk, and operational risk. Corporate governance activities address the needs of the corporate structure required by the process of transformation into a commercial bank. Work is done with the Board and sub-committees to strengthen transparency and disclosure. Strategic planning for transformation activities will include helping develop La Nacional's 5 year Strategic Plan based on review of its vision and strategic objectives to define the model, business strategies, products and services and risk profile for the institution. |
