La Rioja II Solar PV Plant

This project involves the construction of the La Rioja II Solar PV project, located in Chilecito department, La Rioja province, Argentina. The planned generated capacity of La Rioja II is 78MW and will occupy 300 hectares of land. The project will be connected to the Transformation Station ET Nonogasta Solar, a property of the same sponsor - 360 Energy. The sponsor has issued green bonds in order to finance the total amount of the investment which is $80m. Itau BBA acted as placement agent on the issue. The green bonds comprises two dollar-denominated tranches: a two-year tranche for $20m and a nine-year tranche for $60m. The financial close date is the 1st of March, 2023.
