Description | A functional labour market is an absolute prerequisite for economic growth and welfare both in Finland and Russia. A solution for this problem has to be sought from the development of cross-border employment services. This is carried out by building a reliable and compatible employment service network between the public employment service systems. The project emphasizes a multi-faceted anticipation of work force and know-how needs as well as effective and open communications about work, education and practical training opportunities on both sides of the border. The main objective of the project Labour Mobility between Finland and Russia is to create a labour market area between South-East and East-Finland and north-western Russia. The aim is to develop a reliable and open system with which information on the prerequisites for working and studying can be distributed on both sides of the border. |
