Lac des Îles Pit Extension

planned

Northern Graphite Corporation secured government funding to finance a pit extension at the Lac des Îles graphite mine. The extension aims to extend the life of North America's only producing graphite mine and support increased production to meet growing demand from industrial and battery markets. The project includes moving the mill to a seven-days-per-week operation targeting an annual capacity of 25,000 tonnes per year.
