Lafayette Town Center Pathway and BART Bike Station Project

under construction

Construction is underway at Lafayette BART Station to build a new bike station and improved pathway connecting riders to Mount Diablo Boulevard. The project will add secure parking for up to 82 bicycles and create an ADA-compliant shared-use path linking the station's south side to the downtown core. It includes a new plaza with a public art installation, a passenger vehicle turnaround, and various site improvements. The project aims to improve first-mile and last-mile connectivity for transit riders and address accessibility concerns.
