Description

The project includes - the construction of two waterworks in Henan and Guwa with a capacity of 100,000 and 50,000 m³/d respectively, - the construction of a building for water quality monitoring including offices in Modong, - the construction of a sludge treatment plant (composting) in Chengdong with a capacity of 50 m³/d (sewage sludge). in the city of Laibin (approx. 300,000 inhabitants), in the southern Chinese province of Guangxi. In addition to the KfW Federal Development Fund loan, the financing is secured from funds from the local project sponsor (Laibin Water Group Co., Ltd) and the national government. The project is intended to contribute to reducing environmental pollution and improving the health situation through better wastewater disposal and improving urban living conditions through the sustainable use of the secured water supply.
