The city of Hot Springs opened a new 15 million-gallon-a-day water treatment plant located at 125 Randall Road, southwest of Lake Hamilton. This facility is the final piece of the city's largest infrastructure project in its 150-year history, part of the Lake Ouachita water supply project. The plant treats water from Lake Ouachita and includes a three million gallon clearwell and backwash lagoons.

Description | The city of Hot Springs opened a new 15 million-gallon-a-day water treatment plant located at 125 Randall Road, southwest of Lake Hamilton. This facility is the final piece of the city's largest infrastructure project in its 150-year history, part of the Lake Ouachita water supply project. The plant treats water from Lake Ouachita and includes a three million gallon clearwell and backwash lagoons. The project includes 30 miles of large-diameter pipe to gravity flow water from the Blakely Mountain intake to the plant and 13 miles of finished water pipe feeding the distribution system. |
