Description

Description

The project involves the design, financing, supply, installation, operation, maintenance, and management of a county-wide public electric vehicle (EV) charging infrastructure network across Lancashire. Delivered under the UK's Local Electric Vehicle Infrastructure (LEVI) programme, the contract aims to expand access to reliable public EV charging, particularly for residents without off-street parking. The appointed charge point operator will be responsible for deploying and maintaining charging stations at suitable on-street and public locations, ensuring ongoing operation, customer support, payment systems, and network management throughout the approximately 15-year concession period. The project is intended to support the transition to zero-emission transport, improve charging accessibility, and help Lancashire County Council achieve its sustainability and decarbonisation objectives.
