The Spartanburg facility has been operational since 2011 producing 1.6 megawatts, and the Union County facility has been producing 3.2 megawatts since 2015. The state of South Carolina has introduced tax credits to encourage companies to convert landfill gases into renewable natural gas, capped at 25% of equipment costs and expiring at the end of 2030. |
