Langley - D - WC Blair Recreation Centre: Facility Expansion

The project will complete an expansion to the WC Blair Recreation Facility in the Township of Langley. The project will improve service and allow for improved physical distancing. Improvements will be made to the mechanical systems and improve a fitness area, steam room and multipurpose room. The project will expand the facility to meet the growing needs of the community. Growth within the community has increased and the need for expanded services has occurred. The total fitness area will be doubled, allowing for increased users and the increased ability to physically distance during the pandemic. The facility is also utilized for rehabilitation programs as the Langley Memorial Hospital is near by. The project works include: - an approx. 3000 sq ft (265 sq m) expansion; - installation of electrical, plumbing and mechanical works; - installation of a kitchenette; -installation of flooring, painting and finishings; and, - all related works.
