This project consistence of pedestrian and bicycle infrastructure improvements in Lake land, GA in the vicinity of Lanier Primary, Elementary, and Middle School. The project will improve pedestrian and bicycle accessibility and connectivity through the installation of new sidewalks, as well as pavement markings and wheelchair ramp improvements. All improvements will be constructed with the existing Right-of-Way. All improvement will comply with the Americans with Disabilities Act. The project proposes to install 5' sidewalks in front of the Elementary and Primary Schools connecting the schools to the existing sidewalk along S. Valdosta Road, on Berrien Avenue and around the Primary and Middle School and install 8' sidewalks along Park Drive extending from S. Valdosta Road to S. Oak Street.
