Lantz Bridge Replacement

The Project will replace a single lane, 15-metre bridge with a wider, two-lane wooden bridge that better aligns with the road and has an improved approach to increase safety. The scope of the Project will include removing the existing structure, excavating and constructing the new bridge foundation, installing wooden girders and the deck, and widening 40 metres of the bridge approach. The Project will improve the safety and reliability of the bridge for drivers, improve traffic circulation through the provision of two lanes. The new bridge will also eliminate load limits and support faster emergency response.
