Description | The project entails the construction of a waste-to-energy plant in Lanzhou, Gansu Province. Construction will be divided into two phases: phase one - construction of a WtE plant with a daily waste disposal capacity of 2,000 tonnes, and phase two - expansion of the plant up to a daily capacity of 3,000 tonnes. In October 2012, ZhongDe Waste Technology signed a contract for a build-operate-transfer (BOT) project with the Lanzhou Qinwangchuan Integrative Development Management Committee. The contract is valued at approximately $219.13 million. On 14th October 2016, ZhongDe entered into an agreement with Capital Yield Group for the sale of all its shares in its wholly-owned subsidiary, Chung Hua Environment Protection, which undertook all of its BOT projects.
