Description | In August 2013, construction of a solid waste incineration power plant commenced in Gaolan County, Lanzhou City, Gansu Province. The developer was ZhongDe Waste Technology AG, a private company floated at the Frankfurt Exchange. The total investment of the first phase was RMB 983 million (US$ 160.10 million) and ZhongDe Waste had a 100% stake in the project. The power plant has an electricity generation capacity of 40MW and can process 700,000 tons of household solid waste each year. Substantial construction was finished by April 2014. |
