Description | The project entails the development of a 150MW on-shore windfarm in Laoshibeihe in Huanghua, Hebei province, China. It was announced on 15 April 2015, that Sembcorp received regulatory approval to build the windfarm. The project is expected to be completed by the second half of 2017. The project was estimated to cost US$ 218.3498 million (RMB 1.3361263 billion), with Sembcorp's equity contribution of around US$ 37.447 million. Construction commenced by the end of 2015. Semcorpo had a 49% stake in the project with the remaining shares belonging to Guohua Electric Power Company Limited, a subsidiary of the state owned Shenhua Group. The concession term was 40 years. |
