Description | This project involves the construction of Lar do Sol-Casablanca II Solar PV Plant, located in Pirapora, state of Minas Gerais, Brazil. The maximum planned capacity of the Lar do Sol-Casablanca II solar plant is 239MWp, it will occupy around 700 hectares with total of 460 thousand solar panels. Atlas Renewable Energy is the main investor and operator with Unipar as a minority partner in the project. The total project cost is $79.21m (R$407m), financed with a loan from the Banco do Nordeste do Brasil (BNB). The financial close date is February 17th, 2022.
