Larch Hills Nordic Society - Trail Lighting Project

The project will install lighting at the Larch Hills Recreation Area cross country ski trails. The improved lighting will extend the operating hours of the facility in the winter. The works will increase the time the facility can be open, allowing for more users. The extended opening hours will also allow weekday users of the facility which couldn’t currently use it because of the short days. The project works include: - installation of approximately 1.64 km of trial lighting; - installation of converter, generator transfer switch and controls, surge suppression, bases, luminaires poles and conduit; - wiring; - trenching a backfilling, and - all related works.
