Description	The largest four-lane bridge in Jamaica is to be constructed over the Rio Minho in Clarendon as part of the Southern Coastal Highway Improvement Project (SCHIP). The bridge will be much wider than the existing two-lane bridge, with a width of almost 150 metres. Preparatory piling work is underway, with piles driven into bedrock to support the foundation. The bridge is designed to withstand a hundred-year storm and improve drainage in the area.
