Description | Polish renewables developer R.Power SA has selected Solartech as the general contractor for its largest photovoltaic investment in Poland to date, an 80-MWp solar farm project in Lasocice. The agreement covers construction, assembly, and commissioning of the PV facility, excluding module supply. The solar farm will connect to the national transmission grid via a 220/110 kV substation operated by Polskie Sieci Elektroenergetyczne. The plant's connection capacity is 57 MW, with potential to increase to nearly 80 MWp. Construction is scheduled to start in Q1 2026, with energisation planned for Q2 2027. The project may be expanded to include a battery energy storage system (BESS). |
