Laval Street Water Treatment Facility Upgrade

The project will upgrade the Casselman Water Treatment Plant in Casselman, Ontario. The work will involve upgrading the filtration system and clarifier, replacing two recirculation pumps, repairing the walls of the clarification system, installing new filters, building an addition to accommodate a tank and filtration system, retrofitting the backwash pumping and air scour systems, installing new piping, and upgrading electrical and control systems. The project will fund improvements to water treatment facilities, which will increase access to potable water by increasing the reliability and efficiency of the water treatment infrastructure.
