GE Aerospace handed over the fifth F404-IN20 jet engine to Hindustan Aeronautics Limited (HAL) for the indigenous LCA Mark 1A fighter jet project. HAL has acquired 113 F404-IN20 engines from GE Aerospace along with a support package to execute the 97 LCA Mk1A aircraft program. The engines are expected to be delivered from 2027 to 2032.
