RESPECT. All the values and objectives of our project are based on the mutual respect people have for each other. In order for our project to have a successful and positive impact on people’s future, we need them to understand what respect is and learn how to respect one another. We will be focusing on the growth of an individual by showing the participants how knowing their own personality can greatly benefit them in a sense that they’ll know their own strengths and weaknesses. This will allow them to know what they need to improve with their behaviour and communication to be successful in creating a lifestyle which will further increase their self-confidence.During our program all people are welcomed to participate. However, we will particularly be focusing on the specific needs of minorities (different racial backgrounds, nationalities, disabilities, sexual orientation) and women. We will be respecting the needs and rights of children and seniors as well. Our program is structured to suit both an adult audience with serious and factual workshops, presentations and activities, as well as providing them with a place and time to get to know each other and create new relationships to further improve cross boarder relations between EU countries. Other than that, we will have activities in our program to suit the needs of children as well. Therefore, in our target audience we include everyone from both the applicant municipality and the other participating municipalities. The project will focus on these four key themes, Solidarity and tolerance, Discrimination, Gender equality, The European Union.
