Description | The Project aims to improve the use of technology in teaching practices and learning environments in selected primary and secondaryschools, and to strengthen the Ministry of Education’s (MEP) decision-making processes. It is organized in three components: thefirst component, Digital resources for teaching and learning in selected schools, focuses on the development and use of educationaldigital resources to enhance the use of the new national curriculum in the classroom. This Component would support (i) theintegration of digital educational resources in classrooms; (ii) training for teachers to effectively use those resources; and(iii) the provision of adequate equipment and internet connectivity to schools. The second component, Digital technologies for theimprovement of educational management, focuses on the development and implementation of digital technologies to enhance MEP’sdecision-making processes for the education sector. It would support (i) the consolidation of institutional plans for the use ofeducational digital resources through the strengthening of MEP’s relevant institutional structures; and (ii) the modernization ofthe sector’s information and management system to improve its efficacy. The third component ensures support for the Project’smanagement and for the system’s evaluation capacities, including key analytical studies and impact evaluations, as well asassistance and resources for the coordination, execution, and monitoring of the Project. |
