Leaux Kitchens Expansion Project

The project involves the expansion of existing operations and selling capacity of Leaux Kitchens. The company is located in Lusaka and deals in interior cabinetry design and finish of houses, hotels, offices restaurants, bars etc. The Project is open for FDI through a minority stake. The project scope includes purchase of new machinery and equipment and setting up of a show room and sales outlet to meet its growing demand for its products. Other collaboration being sought includes enhancing market access for both domestic and export markets as well as access to production materials and components. The required capital investment is ZMW1,000,000 (USD 57,143). The project is profitable and is expected to succeed due to the readily available demand as well as the potential to grow this demand through implementation of the company's newly developed marketing and sales strategy. The company is expected to be making a minimum of ZMK5,040,000 (USD 288,000) per year with an expected annual increase of 10%. The company is currently focusing on the domestic market with intentions to start exporting to the neighboring countries in particular the Democratic Republic of Congo.
