Description

The aim of the FC measure is to improve the livelihoods and prospects for Palestinian refugees from Lebanon and Syria. The focus of the project is on measures for the employment-intensive rehabilitation of housing, UNRWA infrastructure (schools, vocational schools, health centers and administrative offices) and environmental health (water, sanitation and hygiene, WASH). In addition, young people are supported with two-month jobs so that they can gain work experience and expand their professional knowledge. This is intended to improve the livelihoods and prospects for Palestinian refugees from Lebanon and Syria. The total cost of the second phase presented here amounts to EUR 17.8 million, which is to be financed through a grant to the project sponsor United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees in the Near East (UNRWA). 7,084 jobs are to be created as part of the second phase.
