Lechang Waste-to-energy Plant Phase I

The project involves the investment, construction and operation of phase I of Lechang Waste-to-energy Plant, located in the circular economy environmental protection park of Lechang City in Shaoguan City of Guangdong Province of China. The project will be constructed in 2 phases having total designed daily waste processing capacity of 1,000 tonnes. Phase I of the project has a designed daily waste processing capacity of 500 tonnes (182,500 tonnes/year) and will be equipped with 1 x 500 tonnes/day grate furnace and 1 x 12 MW turbine power generator. The project is expected to generate approximately 72 million kWh of green electricity per year. The sponsor China Everbright international Ltd signed a concession agreement under BOT (Build-Operate-Transfer) model for 30 years, including the construction.
