LED Street Light Replacement Project in Bengaluru

The project involves replacing conventional streetlights with energy-efficient LED streetlights across the Bengaluru North City Corporation (BNCC) limits under a Public-Private Partnership (PPP) model. In addition to replacing existing lights, the project includes installing LED fixtures on previously vacant poles, setting up new streetlight poles, laying underground and aerial bunched (AB) cables in poorly lit areas, and deploying a Centralized Control and Monitoring System (CCMS) to enable remote monitoring, fault detection, and efficient maintenance. The initiative aims to improve street illumination, enhance public safety, reduce electricity consumption and maintenance costs, and modernize the city's street-lighting infrastructure.
