The Legal and Judicial Reform Project aims to enhance public trust and confidence in the legal system as a whole and the judiciary in particular through the design and testing of new tools and systems that promote better access to legal information, the creation of specialized courts, and an improved legal education and profession. The project consists of four components. 1) The first component will support the establishment of administrative court system to promote transparency and governance. 2) The second component will support capacity building for a unified system of legal and judicial information. A pilot center for Mongolian lawyers, judges, and the public in general, will established and operational. 3) The third component will support improvement of legal education and legal profession. The project will assist the law professors in two selected pilot law schools, to get the necessary training materials and methodology of teaching in order to be able to provide courses adapted to the new curricula. 4) The final component will strengthen the Project Implementation Unit through the provision of consultants' services and training.
