Description | In November 2016, a local private company Delixi Holding Group Co., Ltd. signed a Public Private Partnership agreement with the Leqing Municipal Government to finance, build and operate the Wengyang Wastewater Treatment Plant in Leqing City, Zhejiang Province. Delixi won the contract through direct negotiation with the local government. The total investment for the first phase was US$ 35.82 million (RMB 238 million) and Delixi had a 100% stake in the project. The design capacity of the first phase of the plant was 60 tons per day. Construction actually commenced in July 2016, ahead of the signature date. The concession term was 30 years. It was one of the demonstration PPP projects of the Zhejiang Province. |
