Lesotho - Support to Health Reforms Program

The Health Sector Reforms Program addresses capacity building and institutional strengthening to the mental health and social welfare sub-sectors. This programme of the Ministry of Health and Social Welfare (MOHSW) is cofinanced by 7 partners, as the preferred sector-wide approach method of undertaking such an initiative. It aim is to create an enabling environment for improved health and behavior change even as it proposes social welfare and mental care programs to target the most vulnerable groups: the poor, disadvantaged children, the elderly, the disabled, and the intellectually impaired. The project is located within MOHSW and will share implementation arrangements with Cooperating Partners.
