Description | Created in 2016 by Le Groupe Ouest (France) with partners from Romania, Belgium and Poland, LIM supports European filmmakers, writers and producers in the early stages of story development. The programme uses limitations as a tool to trigger the creative process and has built a strong network of film institutions across Europe in order to foster new script development methodologies backed by recent research in cognitive sciences. In 2026, thanks to the constant endeavour generated by the StoryTANK, the first European think tank putting together writers and researchers, LIM evolves into LIM², integrating AI, augmented reality, and sensorial tools to enhance the creative process with cutting-edge techniques like embodied and spatial cognition combined with orality. |
