Description

Description

LET's be EUROPEAN STARS Our L.E.S project would teach modules about the European Union to students aged 14-18 in an engaging and informative process for a better understanding of human rights, responsibilities and a broader political and economic framework of Europe. Our Human Sciences High School has a specific course open to internationalization fostering innovative and interdisciplinary approaches, so our L.E.S project perfectly fits our needs. Combining different strategies we would use debate, analysis of current events and encourage openness, respect for diversity and active citizenship within a European context. Being a European Parliament Ambassador School we would use group discussions and role-playing activities where students might assume the roles of EU representatives focusing on EU-related topics to simulate real-world diplomacy. In addition, we would invite EU officials, local representatives or experts on EU affairs to share insights and answer questions. Students would be granted the opportunity to be involved in field trips to visit the most representative EU sites in Europe and be informed citizens in a multicultural and interconnected world. Jean Monnet grant would help to raise more awareness about how much EU Youth Programs, like Erasmus + projects (they can benefit from in our institution) can contribute to their personal growth and future career.
