The proposed TA aims to strengthen time-use data collection in the region for inclusive development by (i) advancing time-use data collection methodology based on international guidelines and best practices on time-use surveys, (ii) collaborating with a national statistics office to support data collection in one DMC (developing member country), (iii) strengthening data literacy and building capacity among relevant stakeholders in selected DMCs, and (iv) demonstrating the usefulness of time-use data for policy through rigorous empirical studies using micro data (secondary) from the region.
