Description | "The purpose of this project is to implement LFS 2026 module on ""Digital platform employment” under Work package “Implementation of the 2026 EU-LFS ad hoc subject on ‘Digital Platform Employment’”. The project aims at supporting the Croatian Bureau of Statistics to be compliant with the Commission Implementing Regulation (EU) 2019/2240 of 16 December 2019 and with the Commission Implementing Regulation (EU) 2024/2887 of 14 November 2024 and to enhance the quality of the EU-LFS data as regards methodology provided in the framework regulation on Integrated European Social Statistics (EU) 2019/1700 through: - collecting methodologically sound and valid data in accordance with Commission Implementing Regulation (EU) 2024/2887 of 14 November 2024 specifying the technical items of the data set for the 2026 LFS ad hoc subject on “Digital Platform Employment” in the labour force domain - increasing the comparability of results by using the explanatory notes and proposed model questionnaire as agreed by the LAMAS working group. The LFS 2026 ad hoc module will be carried out as a supplement to the Labour Force Survey (LFS). It will be conducted in each quarter of 2026 on a LFS subsample. Data collection (fieldwork) will be carried out by computer-assisted personal interviewing (CAPI). The main aim of the project is to produce sound statistical results comparable with other EU countries and to deliver national microdata set to Eurostat in time. Objectives will be achieved through the following activities: development of national questionnaire and methodology and using the required concepts and definitions for LFS 2026 ad hoc subject, development of CAPI software, data collection, data editing, data processing, data validation and transmission the microdata set to Eurostat via Edamis channel. This LFS 2026 module expects to provide information to specific interest groups, as well as public and government bodies at national and EU level. " |
