Description

Description

LG Electronics India Limited (LGEIL) has entered into strategic renewable energy partnerships with Hinduja Renewables Energy Private Limited (HREPL) and Sunsure Energy to increase its reliance on clean power across its key production facilities. HREPL will supply approximately 1.61 crore units of green electricity annually from its 27.7 MWp solar installation in Nanded, Maharashtra, meeting nearly 40% of the energy demand at LGEIL's Pune facility and reducing carbon emissions by over 0.31 million metric tonnes over the project's lifetime. Sunsure Energy will provide close to 1.6 crore units of renewable power each year from its 82.5 MWp solar plant in Erach, Uttar Pradesh, enabling the Greater Noida facility to fulfill around 30% of its energy requirements through clean sources, increasing total renewable energy usage to nearly half of its overall consumption and offsetting approximately 0.30 million metric tonnes of carbon emissions over time.
