Description | The project involves the construction of phase I of Lianyungang Donghai Waste-to-energy plant, located in Lianyungang, Jiangsu province of China. Phase I of the project has a designed daily waste processing capacity of 600 tonnes (219,000 tonnes/year). The 2nd phase will add further 600 tonnes/day to the capacity. The project is expected to generate approximately 100 million kWh of green electricity per year. The sponsor China Everbright international Ltd signed a concession agreement under BOT (Build-Operate-Transfer) model for 30 years, including the construction.
