Description | A local private company Tadee Group was granted an agreement to finance, build and operate the Lianyungang New Century Liquid Chemical Port in Lianyungang City, Jiangsu Province. The project has a capacity of 2.25 million tons per year. The length of the berth is 327 meters long and the associated inventory has an area of 275 acres. The total investment is RMB 600 million. It will be operated by Lianyungang New Century Petrochemal Co., Ltd., a joint venture of the state owned Lianyungang Port Group and Tadee Group. Construction commenced on December 29, 2010 and is expected to be completed in 2 to 3 years. By September 2011, RMB 45.80 million has been expended on construction. Financing agreement was signed on June 30, 2011 with a 9 year interest rate of 6.65% and commission of 0.5% of the loan. Tadee has a 100% stake in the project. |
