Liaoyang City River East New City Water Affairs Project

In January 2010, a Singapore based company United Envirotech Ltd. signed a 30 year agreement in Jan 2010 with the Liaoyang Municipality Government to implement a portfolio of water supply, water distribution and wastewater treatment plant in Liaoyang City, Liaoning Province under BOT scheme. The agreement was granted through competitive bidding. Total investment for the project was estimated US$36.03 million. United Envirotech owns 100% stake of the project. The project would involve the constructon and operation of the Liaoyang No. 4 Water Supply Plant (phase 1 50,000 cubic meters pe day; long term: 98,000 cubic meters per day); disribution lines from the new water treatment plant to River East New City; and the River East New City Wastewater Treatment Plant (phase 1: 30,000 cubic meters per day; long term: 100,000 cubic meters per day)
