Description | In June 2014, the partnership of Invex Infraestructura 3 (25%), Constructora y Pavimentadora Vise (20%), Construcciones Rubau (35%) and Constructora y Edificadora GIA+A (20%) was awarded the contract to build and operate the 34.2-km highway connecting , state of Sonora. The highway was named Libramiento de Ciudad Obregon. Besides the consortium Invex-Gia, two other bidders took part in the biding process: Omega and Prodemex. The bidding criteria was the highest amount of investment to be directed to the highway. The winning bid was a value of US$ 72.1 million (Pesos 1145.5 million). The 30-year contract was signed with the Mexican authority SCT in November 2014.
